I Am Butter

I Am Butter is a distinctively stylised platformer with puzzle elements. Players take on the role of a piece of butter, navigating a series of surreal environments — a chaotic kitchen, a flooded dining room, a freezing cold corridor engulfed in flames — gradually uncovering an absurdist mystery through interactions with animated object characters. The game’s visual style draws from comic illustration and pop art, creating a bold and instantly recognisable aesthetic. Level design combines spatial awareness with physics-based puzzles, requiring players to carefully observe their surroundings, utilise environmental mechanisms, and make precise movements to reach each goal.
